Over the summer months, the administrative team has prepared for reconnecting with our on-campus and virtual student population to ensure smooth transitions for students, parents and teachers.
We are taking prayerful consideration as we move forward with our plans to reopen our campuses, and want to make sure we continue to share updated information with you.
As this situation evolves, we are committed to providing steady updates and implementing protocols that best protect the emotional, mental and physical health of all students and staff.
2020 - 2021 School Reopening Plan
All K-12 Florida State Christian Academy students will be starting virtually only, Innovative Learning Classes on 8/17/2020 in order to ensure that all students begin on time. This is due to the sudden announcement that St. Lucie County Schools will delay their start of school.
Those students who have opted for "on campus" instruction may tentatively return in person on 8/24/2020, providing that St. Lucie County continues with their plan to resume on campus learning.
This 8/17/2020 online learning start date will ensure that FSCA students do not have to make up days in the summer. Students will be taught using the same lesson plans, and all students will remain on target moving into this school year.
Students and parents will be contacted to finalize class preparations.
For VPK students ELC is only approving onsite instruction, therefore VPK will tentatively start on 8/24/2020.
